BIRMINGHAM LUXURY SPA COMPLETES EXPANSION

BIRMINGHAM, MICHIGAN (December 4, 2020) — Beach House Day Spa (34645 Woodward Ave.), a luxury day spa located in downtown Birmingham, Michigan, has completed an expansion that nearly doubled the spa’s footprint. 

The renovation, which began in March 2020, was halted temporarily due to COVID-19 restrictions, but it is now fully operational. The expansion added an additional 2500 square feet, which has allowed for greater physical distancing as the day spa continues to operate safely during the pandemic. This new space also features an enlarged reception area, two more changing areas, additional treatment rooms, and nine extra lockers. The private party room can host small groups in an enclosed space, allowing guests to safely eat and drink without masks or exposure to people outside their party.

“Although the timing of the expansion has been challenging given the pandemic, the support and loyalty we are receiving from all of our amazing clients leaves me with no doubt it was the right thing to do,” said Lauren MacVean, owner of Beach House Day Spa.

Beach House Day Spa continues to follow strict COVID safety protocols, such as employing a full-time cleaning staff, using CDC-approved cleaning supplies, requiring masks and temperature checks, adding plexiglass stations, and staggering appointments to allow ample cleaning time and support social distancing.
